Connecting you QL-810W to a Wi-Fi netwok

One need to use one of either A or B

1. Set the printer’s network mode to Infrastructure mode from the computer using the Printer Setting Tool, or from the printer (QL-820NWB only).
   • Specifying the settings from the computer using the Printer Setting Tool: For Windows
     1. Connect the Label Printer and computer with a USB cable.
     2. Start the Printer Setting Tool on your computer, and click [Communication Settings].
     3. Select [Infrastructure] for [Selected Interface] in [Communication Settings] in the [General] tab, and confirm the [Wireless Direct] tab.

     For Mac

     1. Download Full Software Package from the [Downloads] section, double-click the file, and then start the installer from [StartHere].
     2. When the dialog box for selecting the connection method is displayed after the printer driver installation starts, select [Wireless Network Connection].
     3. Follow the installer instructions to complete the installation.
   • Specifying the settings from the printer (QL-820NWB only):
     1. Press the [Menu] and [] buttons to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button. Set [WLAN (On/Off)] to [On].
     2. Press the [Menu] and [] buttons to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button.
     3. Press the [] button to select the [Network Mode] menu, and then press the [OK] button.
     4. Select [Infrastructure Mode], and then press the [OK] button. The Wi-Fi () icon appears on the LCD.
2. Turn on the Wi-Fi function of the printer.
   • • QL-810W: Press and hold the Wi-Fi (  ) button on your printer for one second. The Wi-Fi ( ) LED starts flashing blue once every three seconds.
   • QL-820NWB: Press the [Menu] and [] buttons to select the [WLAN] menu, and then press the [OK] button. Set [WLAN (On/Off)] to [On]. The Wi-Fi (  ) icon appears on your printer’s LCD.
3. In the Wi-Fi settings screen of your mobile device, select the SSID of the Wi-Fi access point/router and enter the password.
4. Download and install the application.
5. Select your printer in the application.
